The Grove Café & Bakery is looking for a talented, motivated culinary professional to join our growing kitchen team in a leadership-track role. This position is ideal for an experienced line cook ready to step into a lead position and grow within a fast-paced, chef-driven café environment rooted in creativity, seasonality, and genuine hospitality.

What You’ll Do
Lead and support daily kitchen operations with professionalism, consistency, and a positive attitude
Execute high-quality brunch and lunch service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Maintain exceptional standards for prep, cleanliness, organization, and plating
Assist with ordering, prep lists, station setup, and kitchen systems
Support and mentor kitchen staff when needed

Work closely with the sous chef and Chef Jessica to maintain menu quality and consistency
Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development
Help foster a calm, focused, and respectful kitchen culture during service

Qualifications
3–5+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred
Strong line experience with the ability to confidently run a station independently
Excellent knife skills, organization, multitasking, and communication
Ability to work cleanly and efficiently under pressure
Passion for hospitality, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtful food
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Reliable, professional, and eager to grow within a strong kitchen culture
